On 9-160 based chassis the Vertical is derived from the upright board on the left hand side 9-152. It could be a cap or one of the transistors has changed its gain. On some of these on occasion you could stretch the vertical out. These boards were intended for factory rebuild so component markings on all execpt for the first run were minimal (on one side only) {ie the 9-160-01 module had makrings on both sides later models did not}. But, I usually have had enough boards around just to replace the thing.
