I am teaching electronics' here at vanguard high and we are
replacing a convergence board on a RCA model p56820bl, chasse ptk1915dp,ser
#.732290578.The students need the directions to enter service mode to set up
the TV. This is a excellent training project . Can you help us?.

This set looks like a Direct view Zenith that has a short in the CRT. You
know where when you turn up the brightness it goes out of focus in a line
across the screen. On the bands of writing on the stock channels and on the
advertisement channels. Did anyone ever see a projo do this? Replaced 9-1674
Module and Convergence IC's to get it running, now I have this. Thanks for
any help.
