Leroy, Check voltage @ pin 39 of IC6000 +5V also data in from IR on pin 2 of IC6000.. Make sure you have +5V on pin 8 of IC6001 also check transistor/diodes on keyboard assembly... If everything checks ok, i would replace IC6001 p/n 221-745-04 eprom... you may have to replace micro, but eprom lots cheaper for starters.
