I left the CRT checker on it all night.
Didn't show anything wrong, though, and I didn't
really expect it.
I looked the crt module, and main board over for
bad solder, and saw few suspect places.
The supply end of the 12k resistors on the crt
board (feeding the R/G/B amps)looked suspect so I
re-soldered them.
So far so good.
Makes no sense to me.
I would have bet on a bad crt.
