You are right, I'm more confused.
I replaced The HOT with a sub. Still not sure if it is correct because of  
the confusion, but anyway If the set is unpluged  for a while, plug it back  in 
,some time it will come on for about 5-10 seconds with good picture and audio  
then shut down and keep trying to come back on again.
 
Any notes as to what the problem my be.?
