Well, I didn't want to have to admit to this at first - from experience with 
other 
sets - since I was hoping there was a chance the CRT and/or circuitry was 
desgined better than those I'd worked on in the past.

Your suggestion has already been considered but, I'll first give everyone else 
their chance to add to or against this theory/experience of ours :)
