Customer said dead, will click only with power button pushed. I expected the usual "chirp" of the SMPS when I plugged it in,,but instead I heard the HV come up it sounded more intense that usuall, then dead. I pushed power button, and clicked only. I unplugged the set, put my HV probe to CRT anode and plugged it in again, to see the HV climb over 30KV then dead. I think it has excess HV and is triggering shut down. I'm usually pretty good with these chassis.temporarly stumped... HOT,SMPS seem OK. Any known issues on this? Phil Bader -- Philip Bader Jan Phyl TV Inc. (estab. 1976) 3420 Recker Hwy.
