Dave,
Replace resistors R3243 (110K) and R3244 (82K) on the 9-1978 module..don't 
check...just replace.
Slightly increase the G2 to rule out vertical failure..if you see horizontal 
line appear..don't go any
further and turn G2 back.

This set has the 9-1942 and 9-1978-01. Unit had no HV replaced 9-1978-01 had HV 
but tubs would not light
up.Replaced focus block. Set now has HV and a raster. No picture or menu.Set 
came from buddy buy rite
that's why it has a off the wall model number.Can the focus block be bad or can 
a bad focus block take out
the new 9-1978-01. Need help. Thanks, Dave
