[TechAssist] Yamaha CDC-705. Gear that drives sled has broken teeth

I have a friend that has a Yamaha CDC-705. The teeth on the gear that drives
the CD sled has damaged teeth. I have heard that there may be a couple of
service bulletins on this problem. Does any one have any information on these?
Also I found by a Goggle search that the Sony part number for this gear is
X-2640-769-1. Does any one happen to know what Sony model is equivalent to the
Yamaha?
