I know how but I never shut my computer down unless I am forced to, it
just runs and runs and runs, I just close it and it goes to sleep, or
standby, then when I open it it's ready to go in just a couple of
seconds. The battery never runs down except when I run it down on
purpose to let it recharge. When on service calls I use it as a GPS and
for whatever internet access I need.
