I think I got the answer on my problem...I installed Nero CD/DVD program...and the computer I was installing it on, only had a CD burner..and no DVD. Damon....try System Mechanic 6.0...they have the full version for a 30 day free trial. I just uninstalled my SM...because you need a separate license for each computer...it was a good program, if I could have registered it for all 3 of my computers. Worth $50..but not $150.;-) -Ed- Tel-Tek Electronics Ontario-Canada teltek3@xxxxxxxxxxxx _____________________________ ----- Original Message ----- From: "Damon" <DamonEB@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, February 09, 2006 6:37 AM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Windows XP Question. > Same here Russ...No MS activation UNLESS I did a complete ReInstall of > WinXP Or 98.... > I wonder if there's a bug...and the moment he reactivates he gets spybots > galore..... > ED???
