I forgot to mention that if Windows was installed by the PC manufacturer, they usually don't use the regular MS Windows CD, but rather their version. Using this CD to reinstall Windows does wipe out all your files. Not such a good system in my opinion. -- Best regards, Bil Green 2001 TV VCR Mammoth Lakes, CA 93546 760-934-2001 mailto:tv.vcrrepair@xxxxxxxxxxx Thursday, November 20, 2003, 8:13:33 PM, you wrote: S> Does anyone know how to go back to a previous know good startup date for S> Windows 2000 professional edition?
