How is everyone handling these questions from the public who have found
tech assist messages with Google and expect that we should answer their
uestions? Personally I am starting to ignore these people and delete the
messages. What is the proper email etiquette for handling such messages?
I hate being rude but these are private messages between techs and they
have no business in the public domain in the first place. Should they be
treated as spam or like unsolicited phone calls from telemarketers, in
which case I just lay the receiver down on the desk and let the person
talk for 5 minutes, then hear them yell, "hello?, hello?"?
