[TechAssist] What causes STK730-020 to pop? Pana 31", 1995

Panasonic CT31S185 (S?)
1995 31" TV
No Power
STK730-020 (IC801 SMPS Regulator) is
apparently bad - R806 (0.39 ohms, 2W)
opens instantly when replaced
I have a feeling that another part may have caused
this chip to fail. Electro on primary ESR'd o.k.
Any comments?
