Hello all,
This was sent through to me from our website. Any of you
guys making
this kind of money??? Jay
tech-assist

i am writing you on behalf of my grandmother who had called
for service on
her zenith television (model z36x31d). the comany came to her
house and
diagnosed a power supply problem, but wanted to charge $350
for labor, $210
for the supply on top of the $69 dollar charge for there time
there. i am a
copier technician and am familiar with electronics and as far
as getting
the power supply and swapping it myself there is no problem.
but after i
replace this item i was wondering if i have to reprogram the
microprocessor
ar anything else. this i do not know and wonder if you can
help. i sure
would be nice to rplace this board on a 3 year old set for
$175 dollars
rather then having to buy a new t.v. thank you for your time
and i look
forward to a helpful reply if you can provide it.
