Steve, I've seen all kinds if different color problems in these Zenith CRT's. Does this unit have a Zenith module listed inside? If the drive resistors are OK, I would bet a bad CRT and a CRT tester would confirm this. I got mine for $70 off E-Bay a few years ago and it works great. Tests each gun in these CRT's. If you send the module number, I can see what I have for that module. Your voltages are close enough, another clue the problem is the CRT. I've fixed a few of these by just messing the with CRT socket, evidently cleaning the carbon off the pins and making for a brighter picture. Tritronics sells a brightener that would probably lengthen the life of that CRT, but I would give no warranty on it. But I cant seem to get ANY white - theres always a RED tint in there no mater what Settings I turn on the CRT PCB or on the menu. I tried taking some JPG's of the problem, but the 1st one loked like a good pic because the White From the Camera flash filled it up and balanced it! The Red Seems to be strealy like a chroma problem, becomes more streaky at higher channels. This Pic Captures the problem somewhat, although in actuality, it looks more brownish in the pic than redish / pink which is what it really looks like: http://www.technotronic-dimensions.com/images/td63.jpg Could this be low HV? I have no way of Measuring it unless I put a Ton of Resistors in Series with my DMM. I have 393.5 VDC on the Grey wire from the FBT - I think thats the G2 Wire? The (3) 15K Large wattage Dropping Resistors for the Transistors on the CRT board all have equal Readings of 211VDC on one side, while the Readings on the other Sides seem different. With each R-G-B Trimpot set exactly half way: 1) Blue Power Resistor = 137VDC 2) Red Power Resistor = 129VDC 3) Green Power Resistor = 138VDC I can adjust the RED to be 137/138 Volts as the other 2, but it just intensifies the problem.
