[TechAssist] WIN 2000 SP3 ?

Hello,
I recently loaded Service Pack 3 on a win 2000 pro
pc, new system. It downloaded fine (via microsoft
website but locks up the system when loading.
However, I can start the system in Safe Mode.
Is there a way to temporarily uninstall the
Service Pack?
