Al,
I have it going out on my one set, to a receiver, with no problems. It should
also work with the surround.

Subject: [TechAssist] Variable audio out usage

I never really took notice to what these were for until the mailman asked me
if he could put the audio out into his surround sound system. I told him I
didn't know but I would find out. Can you put the variable out into a
surround sound unit, I know the audio out is fixed at 1V P-P. Please forgive
my ignorance, just never used or serviced that area.
