You have to raise your prices for everybody to cover the 2-5% that Visa
charges you.  At least by using Visa you will have no bounced checks,
and are guaranteed 95-98% of the customer's bill.   

By the way, I found out that Andrews Electronics will not accept
Canadian Visa cards, just like Tritronics.  They informed me that they
have no way of verifying a Canadian Visa card.  I then phoned Visa in
Canada and they told me there is nothing they can do, except for
confirming any personal info (like my home address) that I give to
Andrews (and that Visa would have on file).

What???It is against the law to charge a customer .50 or any fee to use
their Charge card. Heck, it cost us over $300 per month for customers to
use
their cards. They charge us for every transaction. I was going to start
charging .50 for every charge card. Are you all saying that is illegal
and
we are supposed to lose money or not make what we should on our charge
card
sales??? I have never heard of this but Visa Charges us, why can't we
get it
back from the customer? Confused in Georgia.

I don't think it is any law it's just a rule of the banks so that people
are not discouraged form using a card and their lossing their profit.
