Orion is the manufacturer.
Seems a little strange..3 sets..all the same problem?
His other TV may be so old that he can no longer see the individual scan
lines.
And I would presume you are referring to picture from tuner, not playing
a tape.

Subject: [TechAssist] Toshiba TV-VCR MV19N2C, multiple thin lines across
screen

I have a customer who has purchased a brand new 19" Toshiba TV-VCR
combo, model MV19N2C and he is asking me about a problem he is having
with multiple fine lines in the otherwise ok picture, going across the
screen. He is on cable and I suggested perhaps it's a cable problem but
he said he connected another TV and it is fine. This is the third set of
the same model he has brought home from the store and has had the same
problem with each set. I have not personally seen the picture on the
screen to know if he is describing the symptoms correctly.

Is there any known issues with this new model? Also, who is the actual
manufacturer of the chassis in this set?

Thanks for any help.
