Toshiba M-671C interference lines in picture.

Hi fellow techs,

I have a real weird one here! With the cover off, there are slight ziz
zag lines of interference when playing a tape. With the cover on the
lines become much more pronounced and they are now rainbow colored.
I?ve checked all grounds. For awhile I thought I had it fixed by
lifting one side of the cover up 1 half inch which disconnected the top
cover from the bottom metal cover.

I repaired the P/S before and realized that the top metal cover was
missing (got the vcr given to me from another tech who had lsot the
cover). I covered the P/S with a piece of metal but that didn?t correct
my problem. I did notice that from the ground of the P/S to ground was
zero ohms with the VCR unplugged from AC, and 51 ohms with the VCR on.
That doesn?t make sense! HELP!
