We use "Quick Grid" repair coumpound # 15067 .05fl oz.(works great), just
brush it on and let dry over night.
Can get it at auto parts stores. (Used to repair broken rear defrogger grids
on automobiles).
Just clean the rubber pads good, let dry, then coat lightly, let dry.
Done a bunch, no problems, or returns.
