Dear "Current" (since you don't give a name),
I have used several tips programs/books, including Winstips and Mike's
books. Winstips is absolutely amazing and well worth buying. You can
even download it from the Web for 30-day free trial.
www.ServiceSoftware.com. Mike's "TV Case Histories" is not nearly as
useful and takes lots of time searching for possible hints on paper, but
the cost is low and may be useful for some.
Jeff Dougherty has a Tech Repair CD that I've heard good things about and
I intend to buy soon. www.intrepid-video.com or www.tech-repair.net.
No one technician has all the answers. Neither can any one program
satisfy all shops, nor have all the tips.
