turn off the service menu
press menu with remote hold down untill goes off screen
then press 9,8,7,6,ENTER
toggle to parameter 1 with up/dn arrow then toggle once with right arrow key
exit menu with QUIT or ENTER key
this should allow set to turn on/off with power button
