It would be interesting to pop the case of the fake open and see what is inside. ************************************************** Jim Myers Since 1972 Telrad Electronic Services Co. The TT-STK730-020 does not work. I used several to repair a Panasonic 32" with each failing after 1 hour . The regulator would get very hot after several minuets of operation and thermally kill itself. The component looks almost identical to an original but the plastic casing is uniform as opposed to slight irregularities in the original. the fake is several grams lighter in weight than the original and you can feel the difference by holding in your hand. Another difference is the fake is more hollow sounding if tapped on a table than the original which seems more solid. After installing an original from Electronica ,the set has worked fine and the regulator is slightly warm to the touch after 10 minuets of operation. Case closed.
