Hey guys!
In my Ecommerce marketing class the instructor say that the most you are
liable for on any credit card is $50. Some cards even offer $0 liability.
But if you use a debit card that is another story. You are out of luck and
liable for whatever is charged. After learnining about this I would not
worry about using my card online. Of course it would have to be a secure
site with the Trust-e or Verisign credentials and not some off the wall site
that makes you wonder if you'll even get what you purchased. Whats the
difference if you go to a restaurant and the bus boy gets your receipt and
takes the number off it. That is more likely to happen than it getting
stolen from a reputable online site.
And hopefully soon, I am working on it, we will have research on our site.

Ken,
I understand your reluctance to place your credit card number online, but
keep in
mind, most CC companies have some kind of protection to protect you online.
Also,
I use my lowest limit cards, just in case.

Thanks for that suggestion. That's not the first time, but this time I
took action.
I must admit to being just a little reluctant to use the web. Many
reasons, some just excuses for my own lack of experience. Since I have
an account with Tritronics, I just called them up, got my password, and
was set up in minutes.
What a great site. Will save lots of time. Still will call for orders.
I'm not ready to put my credit card out for the world to see. I don't
care how secure they claim it to be.
