You can't measure them on a digital meter. The only one I saw that measures them is a old analog Simpson. don't know what you have there but disconnect the wires to the switches and measure them. Also if the timing is off on the switches it will blow the fuse. Usually when the diode is bad you will get a hum from the transformer. Could also be a bad transformer.
