[TechAssist] TA Go Video GV2040..weird play back problem

Customer had a tape recorded on a fairly new camcorder.
Recorded on a fairly new tape.
Tape plays fine in deck one. When trying to duplicate onto deck to, there are
streaks in the video, more
noticeable on brighter scenes. You do not see this until you PB the cassette in
deck 2...and you see the
problem in PB in both decks.
Now, I recorded color bars and a TV show on deck one...duplicated to deck 2 and
it played fine.
I have no answer to give the customer on this problem. Any ideas on this?
