Bill S. has replied to your question about the box on the screen. Just as he
said it is the text that is on. In Closed Captioning you can have the words
scroll across the bottom or you can have text information come to you in a
large box that takes up most of the screen and you will get a large black
box if it is on and nothing to come through to you. Get the customer to go
to CC and make sure that not only CC is off but the text part of it also.
