Only a generac response here. We see a major epidemic of bad three
terminal (TO-220 case) regulators.Notably the 7805 and 7806.I just
change them first,then go from there.Dirty mode switches are also
notorious culprits of erratic symptoms.The center LED (light house) is a
common failure item.There's a start!
