If it is a SMPS, try the NTE176, it is very fast,
it handles 400v PIV, 5A, 35ns and it costs less
than 2 bucks.
If you have a few Apex schematics handy, those diodes
are used in the 24" sets as well (it takes some time
to browse through those schematics..)
