Subject: CYCLIC POWER ON/OFF - C534 FAULTY
SYMPTOMS: Monitors came with no picture, but King noticed that it cycled
power on and off and switched regulator transistor Q503 was getting hot.
Horizontal output transistor Q507 had good drive, but output was distorted
and shut off within a few seconds. No direct
RESOLUTION: Units with SN above 4292109 have improved C534.
The service manual has it as a 0.01MF, 2KV, Sony part# 1-115-349-51. I have
uploaded the manual to the members area.
