it was the IC on the CRT board,  pin 5 shorted to ground,  replaced, all is
well,   thanks to  Jim and Damon and who ever else,  you guys  and this site
are a life saver,  wish I could do more myself,  but by the time I get on
most problems are already resolved,  thanks again.  now for the 85 mile trip
to take it back,   can you believe that,   at a buck a mile, mileage alone
is 340 bucks,  plus another couple hundred for me and the part !!
