See the following:

SYMPTOMS: Unit will shut down immediately after turn on. But the unit will
stay on if the service mode is entered..

RESOLUTION: When monitoring the VP at IC001(18) only 1 volt peak to peak was
measured.
Floating IC001(18) allowed the voltage to return to 5 volt PP.
Replacing the IC001 corrected the trouble.



SYMPTOMS: Shuts down- two blinks (OCP)

CAUSE: Un-soldered collector of the Hor output and TV shut down with 4
blinks. (no Vertical.)

RESOLUTION: Un-soldered collector of the Hor output and TV shut down with 4
blinks. (no Vertical.)
Replaced FBT T505
