I read the service manual, checked the Sony web sites, checked the Dolby web site and some other sites having to do with Dolby, found no reference to Dolby L anywhere. I did find some references to Dolby E but that has to do with digital TV signals. I give up, anyone else have any thoughts on this? ************************************************** Jim Myers Since 1972 Telrad Electronic Services Co. A fellow tech is repairing a Sony STR-D345. Almost everything seems to be working fine after replacing many parts. The only thing he and I have noticed is that on the setting "Dolby L" the front speakers are distorted. I have never heard of "Dolby L". Also the volume in Dolby Pro Logic is lower than what I would expect. Thanks.
