Customer choose not to have this unit fixed. Thanks everyone for your tips
and Don for you offer to help off line. I also recently learned that the
problem may have been a DC-to-DC converter on the clock module. There is a
two wire test cable coming out of this module. The test cable should have 12
Volts on it and it did not. This DC-to-DC converter supplies the voltage for
the clock display while in the off state, as well as a standby voltage that
supplies the power supply module. I hope this information helps someone else
in the future that may have a unit with the same problem.
