[TechAssist] Sony Projo KP61V90 picture tube upgrade mod?

A few weeks ago there was mention of problems with late model Sony pojection
tv picture tubes and some sort of upgrade or modification
I have a KP61V90 manufactured Dec 20001 that needs green crt that has very
weak emission
Is this model one that needs this upgrade/mod?
and if is can someone repost the information.
I am not Sony authorized this is GE policy and would like to repair
correctly
