I've checked caps in and around ABL circuit and have chilled components. I took
the CRT board off and plugged the set in and heard high voltage corona from CRT
pins (Seems like it kept in time with the video blink). I slowly approached the
pins with a grounded screw driver and saw arcing from the pins. Unplugged and
put CRT board back on and plugged back in and picture came on with a good
picture (No blinking). If I adjust the screen control too low, the picture will
click off. I have a B&K 470 CRT checker, but no adaptor for this tube. Does
anyone know a trick to disable this blanking problem?
