Bill,
Use AV input with colour bar. If you have the same problem,
try reducing the brightness and picture control.
Once AC have to be interrupt for the unit to come on again, then you are
having a X-ray protection shut down.I do not have this model of service
manual, however, give me the chassis number and I can give you more tips.
