Hello Damon,
I was running into that problem. I was using outlook, and EVERYTHING was set to 
plain text, but kept sending it out as html. I switched to "The Bat!" for 
E-mail, and still use outlook for a calendar. Seemed to fix my problem. It 
actually does what it says.
