Seems to be a possibility. The set has sound and tunner functions, the
screen is grey with retrace there is no OSD, the channels change so the LV
PWR is working. Wasn't there a post on some of this series loosing a ~200K
in the crt circut?

Sounds like your CRT is off biased. I would start on the CRT Board, or the
supply voltages to it.

I'll know more when I see it but what to check first would be helpful.
I therorize that it could be a power supply falt, but knowing this series
could just as easily be a jungle problem.
