Damon: Pin cushion problem. Have too much width as stated. Can't adj. horz size. My schematic shows only -13V, +13V and B+ 134 and 9V and low B+. Can you, or someone, please tell me what the voltages are on Q503, Q504 and I C501? Q503 and Q504 check ok. Thanks. Or was the writing so far off you chose not to adjust it? If there was no adjustability when you ATTEMPTED.....I'd take a serious look at the Pin circuit again. I don't have schematics in front of me on this one, but most PIN and HORIZ SIZE problems are related to the ground side of the "Yoke-to-Ground" path.....of course I think I've seen recently the H Size/Pin signals being injected into the H Drive transformer for waveform correction......don't know if this applies to this chassis or not. Do you have schematics with you?? Or are we both remembering this circuit from "days ago"? BTW I'm Going Into Surgery on my most favorite hand TODAY.....my left hand, which means my responses to anything will be SLOW afterwards....ever try to use the LEFT side of the keyboard with your right hand? If you have cats like I do, you would have.... I just can't wait to try wiping my ass right handed.........8-0 Damon Brunger Telrad Electronics Fort Wayne IN ----- Original Message ----- From: "KENNETH BARNES" <KENNYB928@xxxxxxx<mailto:KENNYB928@xxxxxxx>> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx<mailto:techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx>> Sent: Tuesday, May 10, 2005 9:56 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: Sony KV27FS12 - shuts down > Damon: I replaced IC301 - have pix and all functions. Now I have way too much width. Called up service adjustment mode. Secured HSIZ (Horz size); cannot adj. Can't see all the service writing. Missing the s on service writing. Checked Q503 & Q504 in the pincushion circuit. They are O.K. Also picture bowed in the middle even though I have a full pix. Any suggestions? Thanks for your input.
