Sony TV-VCR combo
KV20M20 Dead
(the ul code is 146 so this is a Goldstar set with a sony CRT)
MFD 1995
Have tried replacing the self-exciting swmode regulator, removed the
Vert IC and audio IC. Tested the caps and diodes on the primary side of the
SW mode transformer. the output from the transformer is low ie 40v reads
12.7V, 12 & 17 V are 2-3V.. When pluged in can hear the swmode supply start
once with VCr connected, W/O vcr goes in pulses of 3. No B+ start indicated
(H.O.T. collector doesn't have voltage)
Anyone run into this before?
