The first problem with this set was the burning of four-1 ohm resistors
connected to one of the convergence STK's, IC 602. I replaced all the
resistors and both STK's, using the higher current version, STK392-020.

I took the convergence board back and installed it into the set, and the
blue and green guns looked fine, but the red looked all haywire. The
blue gun was blue and the green gun was green, but the red gun looked
like it was not turned on except for the edges. Then when I put a
crosshatch pattern into video 1, the blue and green were fine, but the
red was all over the place. After 30 seconds the set shutoff and I
discovered that IC602 was much hotter than IC601, and that fuses F601
and F602 were both now open. Help! I hope I won't have to bring the
set in. TIA
