[TechAssist] Sony HCD-S300 DVD, won't read disc.

I replaced the laser assembly which includes the spindle motor, etc. Still
won't read disc. Laser lights up, focus motor works as well as the sled motor.
I went into the service menu where it would do a operation test and of course
it said error.
What I need is an explanation of the error codes provided in the service menu.
Also, a scan of the service manual would be nice too. I thought I saw that
someone had uploaded it but could not find it.
