Sony 12" commercial use only TV monitor from 1983
CVM-1270
SCC469A-A

Set came in with a severe screeming power supply. 2 caps were
bad on the upright SW mode supply. A 47uf and a 2.2uf changing them
eliminated the screaming from the supply. Set will now run for a few min
(3-5 min) then go to what appears to be high voltage shutdown ( I've tried
removing the overvoltage shutdown lead from the HV static convergace block
with out luck). Set usualy only starts on the second try (It was only
starting with my meter across the 110 dc supply from the PS board (simulated
the meter with a 1 meg). Also there is a resitor out to the sound first 2
digits are 27 multiplier is out I was thinging it was r185 but don't have
the set in front of me at the moment to verify. Don't have a schematic. Any
ideas?
