Kenneth, check out www.hotfiles.com and enter what you are
looking for in the search bar. They have tons there by
entering invoice in the search bar. Also try words like
accounting, etc.

Subject: [TechAssist] Software Needed for Service Invoices

Friends and Fellow Techs,

I need your help--PLEASE. I have been using Microsolf Works
for my
customer files for five years and NEBS for invoices. The
combination is
costing money and needless duplication of work, not to
mention lost time
in <finding> paperwork from various status piles.

I would like to be able to use my Works files, but MUST
change to a
system to print out invoices. I'm not real adept to change,
I must
admit. Have used the MS Works to compute sales and income
taxes, profit
and loss, etc., but it is becoming a nightmare to me.

Susie's Software was suggested to me last December. I
downloaded the
program last December, but was never able to figure it out.
Brings up a
Flash Filer every time I fire up the computer. I don't know
why, and
don't know how to use the program. I admit my deficiencies!

I want a program that will allow notes for "my eyes
only"--for instance
my source and cost for parts or notes that are meaningful to
me but not
wanted on a customer invoice. The ability to sort for
reporting purposes
like sales taxes received during a given period is, of
course, very
important. I must also track productivity of my technicians.
This is
critical, since their pay is based on results, not hours.
Inventory
control would be a plus, but I can handle that with a
separate program.

I have searched the local computer and office supply stores.
If they
have one, they don't know it. I am almost to the point of
building my
own, but don't have the time.

If you have a suggestion, respond to me personally or to the
group if you
feel it may be of use to many. I run a small shop, but have
as many as
100 units each week. I cannot continue to manage that number
with my
present system and maintain what's left of my sanity!

Thanks for your time in reading this lengthy request. Those
of you who
have gone thru this understand my dilemma.
