I am not sure if this is the same symptom, but if have seen Zeniths with
a "venetian blind" effect that was caused by a horizontal cap over by
the video jungle IC. I believe the cap had a value of 10 or 22 uF. HTH

The customer says after 30 min or so it emits a hi pitched squeel, or
singing that hurts their ears. He said the picture "jiggles" as well
sometimes.
I originally thought it was ferrite cores vibrating (he didn't mention
the picture jiggle part the first timE it was here) so I "damped" all
ferrite cores,fly,etc with silicone. Came back with same complaint. I
ran it all afternoon perfectly with the back on it.
I thought meybe he saw "christmas-tree" in the horizontal, but cannot
get it to act up.
This Signature (PLG2767H1)is a Zenith with one large module 9-983-2. No
"fish caps" found yet.
Any histories on this module?
