Subject: [TechAssist] Sharp 13VT-K100M powers up then shut down. Have done
alignment...

Hello Fellow Techs, have a Sharp 13 inch combo tv/vcr. the set comes on just
along enough
to put a tape in and then ejects out then shuts down.If a tape is not inserted
within a
period of time will power off which thought may been alignment. Have done a deck
alignment. The video cylinder rotates pinch roller engages but the capstan does
not
rotate. have checked the capstan motor and it is good. Do not have a schematic
for this
unit so wonder if someone may know of a solution to problem.
Thanks,
