Soap Box ON :

I can see everyone's pro's and con's about the Sencore stuff.......it is
pricey....but it's nice having the right tool for the job.

The two best things I have from them is the PA81 amp analyzer ( Audio
guys......this IS the bomb for audio work!)...and a couple of the SC61
scopes........you can buy these cheap these days......not that I did! Only
scope I've seen that can take a flyback collector pulse without coughing!

Other gear we uses all the time is :

CR7000....broke once on us during warranty.....fixed for free.
VA91 & 92 combo...Bought on Ebay a few years ago for $700..after getting
wanked on a couple VA62's....nice to have.
HA2500 ( Used more so on computer monitors because of the ability to do 15
to 125Khz H-sweep.....but should be very helpful once the HD out of warranty
stuff kicks in)
CM125 (Wonder if this can drive HD sets? It is programmable H + V freq?)
PR57 ......everything gets plugged into them!
LC77........good for those small cap values (.0065uf).....seems very
accurate...good for those Horiz timing caps

Stuffs bought and paid for....yeah it was pricey...but like I said....nice
having a good tool for the job.......all comes out in the wash in the end

Only thing I need now is a HD generator..........We'll see what deals
Sencore has on their stuff in the next 6 months or so....haven't had the
real need for it as of yet.
